Default Humming noise

I've noticed today after going for a quick drive, my car is making a humming noise when parked on tick over and at temperature?

Can anyone suggest possibilities? I'm not overly concerned as the car seems to be running very smoothly, it's just bugging me a bit as to what it could be?

No it's off, I had a feeling it may be something to do with the air filter, but didn't know how?

I've been told it's something to do with the Xenons, but then again It's been said to me it's the air pump. I don't have the lid on my air box either if that helps.

Sounds like the removed airbox sound potentially. Nothing wrong with that but if you're still worried then it might be worth posting a sound bite.

If you've removed your air box lid it will sound like a Vacuum cleaner when idling
