Hey folks,

I have the opportunity of trading my FQ300 in for an 04 S2000 in dark blue (not sure what the manufacturer colour is called - v.dark blue almost black)

On the ad details it says it is a 2.0l engine?? Are all 04 S2000's not 2.2l engines?

Excuse my ignorance...

 

The 2.2 is not available in the UK except as an import.. it was made for the yank market i think.. all our cars are 2.0, 240bhp

Any tweaks at all on the 04 engine or is it the same as the previous year?

I've seen a few posts that its a little toned down!?

 

The 2.2 is a watered down, less revs, more torque jobbie for the yanks that can't cope without a V8.

 

Come on Jamie, I thought you knew more than that . 2.2l has different peaks on torq etc for the yanks but pretty much same power. I think vtec is lower on the 04 model and is much less of a kick. Get rid of that evo

My only concern is I don't have a clue what colour it is. It's a really dark blue and I can't find it in Honda UK's spec... although they advertise it as being a UK car...

The 2.2 knocks out 250PS rather than 240 PS of the 2 litre...
