Well i've packed my bag this morning - have my train ticket, my bankers draft, licence etc all packed.

Insurance all sorted and documentation received.

Spoken to a friend in Melton and will be stopping off for a leisurely lunch on the way home before avoiding the M1 for the journey home and hitting the B-roads so I can bed in the engine/gear box nicely.

God knows how long it will take me to get home tomorrow but quite frankly, I don't care.

And as a bonus, the weather's looking okay for tomorrow too!

I think this may be more exciting than when I bought my own.

If you don't already know, be sure to find out where the petrol flap release button is before you need to fill up on the way home!

Good point!

I've also got my new Honda locking wheel nut set in my bag!

My husband saw me packing them, raised his eyebrows and left the room without a word!

A whole new car to obsess over - what fun!

Oh yes - an absolute must otherwise you will never find it on your own! I forgot to tell my other half and he had to pull out the petrol station and ring me to find out.

I was so excited when I picked mine up as well - especially as it was on my birthday! Train up to Warick area and the roof down in perfect November weather!

Congrats Dawn and enjoy yourself!

Confession time .....

Has anybody actually done this (gone to petrol station & didn't know how to release the fuel flap) ?

I'll start - No, I was ok as the dealer showed me !
