Default I may have an anomaly

Apart from sounding the mutts - the car feels like it's actually pulling better!

Maybe it's just the fact that it now sounds like a BTCC car that's working my mojo, man!

Not at the moment, but then it would often vanish for ages at a time.

Would be interesting to see if it does it without the lid on.

I cant recall your exact detail, but I read a thread somewhere that pointed at the alternator / belt tightness. maybe worth a thought. A fualt there would cut the power.

Worth a look I guess, but surely that is a fault that would at least become common, unlike the randomness that I and others get?

You would think so but the guy in the thread had it randomly. IIRC, you lost all power ie, went onto battery only? I know others just get the car cut out and stall which is different. Out of my depth on electrics though!

It's a strange one to say the least.

Type Alternator into the search, or stalling.

Some help may be found there!

i'm in 2 minds about the cover staying off too! now sat in the boot for time being!

is there an induction kit for the S that sounds the same as not having the lid on but is a cold feed/enclosed kit available?
