From what I've read here it might be a good time to invest in an HKS !

if you can stretch to the Mugen Tit I'd go for that as it's lighter

Sorry,

Anything but HKS, From what I remember on all of the sound clips that I have heard of the HKS, it sounds a bit tinney.

Would go for the Mugen Ti as it sounds really nice but IMO

Tinny?

The HKS Hiper is many things, but I wouldn't have said tinny was one of them. You should at least hear one in person before you discount it.

HKS sounds awesome in my opinion but like I said with hindsight I'd have stretched to the Mugen

Sound clips don't do justice to HKS nor any other exhaust - you have to hear it in person. I have the Amuse now but in terms of sound and looks - the HKS was great.

Custom made one perhaps?

Iv'e been looking at the Mugen kit - exhaust, manifold, ECU etc to see what is the most cost effective route to greater torque (I think the manifold at $1300 plus duties and shipping is probably the most cost effective route but I've not done enough reading to know the implication of buying one (e.g. have to buy mugen exhaust as well?)).

Ok, anyone round Crawley have any exhausts that I can hear. Would be worth a few beers !!!!!!

More interested in sound then anything, a nice mid pitched sports car sound. Extra few horsies would be a bonus but not the top criteria.

PS - The Amuse Ti also sounds lovely but more

Hi,

The link in my sig has pics of a custom exhaust i had made by hayward and scott in essex.

Has the slightly annoying reasonnance like the HKS but i have come to like it. Gives bit more power and shed a load of weight as well.

Hope this helps
