Default I've sold it... :(

Well, this will be my last time on here for a fair old while now. I've sold the S2K and i'll be picking up my new car... an Alfa 147 GTA on Friday afternoon! Its a damn shame I am getting rid of the S2K however a increasing interest in windsurfing has led me to believe that my current car isn't the most practical for transporting my windsurfing kit and a roof rack would be more ideal! It has been mostly a happy 32 months of S2K ownership but a few issues, namely corroding alloy wheels and ripped roof (Honda UK wouldn't play ball!) have taken away from what has been a fantastic driving experience!

Farewell!

Alfa 147 is a great car. However you need to be just as careful on maintenance as with the S2000.

Make sure you only use Selania racing oil in the engine. It's the only one that will keep the engine in tip top nick.
If the car is not new check that it's had the rear wishbones replaced. Ours is 4 and we had to have this done when it was 2. I think later cars are OK.

Alfa now recommend cam belt change at 35,000 on this engine. This is v new information and not what it says in the handbook. If it's close to this milage get it done. along with the 36,000 mile service it should cost about

Yes - full bag of electronics which you should only turn off if you are certifiable.
