Default ICE

Chaps & chapesses,

I have never listened to anything on my stock ICE set up, partly due to the shitness of it but also i prefer the engine note to most musak.

I now want to rectify this. The speakers are utter kak of the highest order & the reverb & rattle is unbelievable. I can't spend mega bucks so it must be below a ton, but i want to replace the door speakers (inc tweeters).

Can't replace the HU, due to money & can't be arsedness. Will do that later at some point so its speakers only.

Ideas on where i can source high st available kit?

Thanks

Ed

one of the cheapest and easiest mods you can do is to replace the oem speakers with better ones

Nick G recommended the Kenwood KFC-1666 to me and I took his advice and fitted them

Aside from the Honda connectors, this is a really simple job that should not take you more than 45 minutes - the replacements fit perfectly

The speakers themselves can be picked up for

for rear speakers (philistines!) you need to splice into the HU harness to tap the unused rear speaker wiring. I imagine it is in the Tech FAQ.
