Default Ideas / problems

Hi People,

not been on for a while, infact sinse i bought the car.

Sinse i bought the S i had a little play -

Greddy Ti Dual Exhaust
AEM Induction
Skunk Trottle Body
Lenso Stage 1 Wheels
Japspeed Strut Brace
Tein Lowering Springs
Goodridge Braided Line
Mintex Pads
4-1 Manifold
Japspeed Decat
BC-Tuning Remap on Standard ecu

I then thought i would sell the parts and put back to standard for another evo 6, seeing as funds are not there and as i would lose sheds loads of money on my 08 reg S.

Im after a few couple of things -

Individa Dual Exhaust (mind spelling)
Bodykit (some thing like Ings+1 )

Does any body no any good and amazing priced company is uk / usa that are good for these?

Also im having a really big problem wityh my brakes -

when under heavy driving they scheme to spark and smoke and stop performing, now i thought this was the pads so these were swapped along with the lines, but still the same happens, do i need better discs?

All advise welcome

Thanks

Yes, he said alot of honda s2000 owners also evo owners are under the wrong impression, he said if they have the right equipment then most if not all maps can be re-mapped.

What mintex pads have you got?

Ferodo DS2500 pads are good for road and track use but will warp/crack OEM type discs with heavy track use but fine for road or normal track use.

I use these with DBA4000 series discs which seem to withstand the heat without warping or cracking.

Other people have had some success with Dixcel products, but they are more expensive.

Gained 18.7bhp over standard with a stronger vtec kick in period which lasts to the full 8900rpm
Just the remap, right? 18.7bhp improved over standard?

Ive got an 07 and ive experienced strange feel with my brakes.

No spark or smoke so im not sure if it is the same. When im heel and toeing a down change that will bring the rev high (above 60000rpm) and brake the i think the ABS is kicking in and it certainly feels as though im lossing brake power. Happened this morning and i think one wheel was actually locked up. Where if i did this level of braking without H&T there would be no problem at all. I doesnt happen all the though

60000rpm... dam... can you imagine how much fun that would be!

I'd still want the VTEC to kick in at 6000rpm...

54000rpm of VTEC fun!

Questions about the re-map

1) So from the remap alone you gained 18/19 Bhp?

2) How has it effected the fuel economy? I know some Ecu re-maps improve the economy...?

3) Are the standard breaks on the S2000 good enough to deal with the 18.7bhp uplift?

Thanks in advance
