If a Snatch Squad from Honda descended on you and confiscated your S2000 on the grounds that you were not V Teching it enough or indeed, V Teching it too much and no longer deserved to own this superb sports car, refunding you the full purchase price you paid for it... what would you do?

Seriously, if you really couldn't buy an S2000, what vehicle would you be looking to buy to equal or come close to it. Try to stay in the real world on pricing please

Oh... and Honda wont sell you ANY other Honda either.

You can buy new or used.

I'd be looking at a late model RX7. I so nearly bought one despite all the unreliability stories I hear. Easily modable too!
Jeremy Clarkson described it as looking as though the body had been poured over the chassis and left to set by God! I think I might take it in white.

Yup, the last two model years. The back end always reminded me of a TV remote (clicker, here in the US). The tail light/break light combo looked like the infrared window on one of those.

BTW, Ced... There's a lot of "Blinking" going on in this thread, what?

Doesn't it look like you colud change the channel with one of these?

Not my eye. I'd be afraid that someone would try to hijack my identity using a retinal scanner or some such. You just can't be too careful these days!

I couldn't buy anything other than German or Japanese (reliability), and you pay way too much for the German badges, so it's got to be from the land of the rising sun.
No Hondas, hmm (if I were allowed, it would have to be a 2nd hand NSX). Nissan - maybe the new Silvia, but I'm not that convinced. Toyota - maybe an old Supra, but it's not really me. Mitsubishi, Subaru, again nothing that sets my pulse racing.
No, it's probably gonna be more than 28k, and you can't buy it yet, but I'd have to go for the RX8.
