If your car is an 00 year model and it's red, you'll be driving a New Formula Red car, not Monza

I'll change that then. Thanks.

I've got a set of 16" OEM to fit my car over winter and was wondering why people fit 225 if they go OEM and 245 for other tyres?
The Porsche 225 S-02 tyre doesn't and makes the wonderfully oversteery.
Is anyone able to give me some idea of how much better the RE050as are in the Wet than the standard SO2's?
I spent a lot of last winter driving around like a pansie as I was very warry of the SO2's.
What real differences to driving should they make?

I can empathise with that. Before I bought my S I read this forum, the stories of instability in the wet frightened the life out of me and I have done the 'wet weather pansy driving technique' in the few months that I have had it!
Although I have not yet pushed my car hard enough to give me any scars on the heart, I'm going to be changing my S02's shortly.
Having read all of the tyre debates and advice on this forum I will be changing for RE050A in the standard sizes.

Use the OEM's it is a result of some thousand of laps in the most famous tracks around the global.
I cannot find any reason to change them ;-)

I have an '02 with 16" wheels and changed to RE050A's on the rear about a month ago. I tried a donut (well not a full one) and could not get the rears to break away (it was quite wet at the time), whereas the same with S02's the car would just slide.
The car strangely feels more planted and stable with the RE050's - but I admit this could be because of these being new tyres compared to worn out SO2's.
Anyhow I am sticking to RE050A's now.
