There you are then, women know a thing or two about colour and your girlfriend obviously has great taste - and you want to keep her on your side so an easy choice to make.

A couple of things I would check, check all four tryes, if you decide to buy make sure the dealer knows that you want the 'correct' tyres on the car, if the wheels are 16" (like mine in my sig) then you want Bridgestone Potenza RE050a all round, if they are 17" (like mine in the posted pics) then Bridgestone Potenza RE050 MZ - seriously at this time of the year and for the coming months the correct rubber on your car will make a big difference. To do it yourself will cost around 360.00 so you could use that as a bartering amount, but do get the right tyres.

Don't worry too much about the colour of the car, I hate to admit it but they are all good looking cars in any colour, and searching for a particular colour will make the job of buying one so much more difficult.

Read the buyers guide in the FAQ.

Just noticed cullywoos concern, not sure why to be honest, you should get a 02/03 and maybe even an 04 (private) for that kind of money, I got mine for 13750 main dealer 46k though but still ... should be possible.

yeah im hopeing for a 03, i was told about the earlier models having a few steering issues which got corrected for the rev 2 model, i suspect the differences are minimal though but im sure its worth buying the best i can afford than the cheapest i can find.

Trust me - any model (or colour) will bring a smile to your face every time you get in and start her up.

i'd agree with that cj!
i always get a smile just sitting in it, and cruising on the motorway without any corners to spin it on

i got the 1st gen s2k - 1999 JDM model.

Welcome to the forum.

I don't usually join in the frequent banal colour debates or respond to the colour trolls, but here's a few pics to whet your appetite for Nurburgring Blue:

Don't assume it's an unpopular colour from the crap you read on here - it's relatively popular, and for good reason. The blue roof is a change from the usual black and the paint colour is one of the best for not showing the muck, even if it doesn't show a polished shine quite like like a darker or flatter colour.

Have the courage to go for the colour YOU want. There will be a million (and two) differing opinions on here whatever you pick
