Hi Steve,

Concensus of opinion on here is that most insurers treat EU parallel imports as UK cars for insurance purposes. I'd specifically check with whoever you insure with though, just to be sure.

Having just done a quick search on Autotrader, that price seems maybe a bit high, if it's an import, although I guess it's not completely out of the ballpark given the very low mileage.

The phrase `a little too good` springs to mind. If you`ve done your homework and it truly is that good - you`ve got a bargain. Snap his hand off.

I've checked everything I could possibly think of, he is selling because he has recently lost his job and can not justify it just sitting in his garage.. I cant wait!
Does anybody know where I can get a loan quickly?
I'm trying with abbey national at the moment with an internet loan (7.1%apr) but was told it would take 4 working days upon receiving the forms, dont know if i can wait that long!!!!

Good rate! Could you write a credit card cheque for an additional (chunky) deposit on the car pending the loan turning up?

7 days is about right for a loan I'd say, just for the trun around and postal elements of signing the agreement etc.
