Default Import Advice Please

Hi Guys,

This isn't S2K specific, but I'm looking for a good importer for a Mercedes. I know that some you use guys have imported, so I'm looking for some advice on who is good to deal with and who is not so good!

Thanks in advance!

Hhhmm, I've noticed that! The price difference between the imports that I've looked at and MB UK list price is VERY small, only a hundred to a couple of hundred pounds!

Thats all I`d need to hear. I wouldn`t bother, as the import stigma will still be attached when you sell and it won`t be to the tune of 100 quid diff.

I'm looking for a new E Class for the wife, the model I'm looking for is like rocking horse sh*t. I've checked all the Supermarkets, and none appear to have any (well none with a decent spec anyway!)

Oh the hardship!, next you'll be telling me you have a 911 .

Maybe in a month or so the import savings may be into the thousand area as I understand Mercedes UK are putting their prices up (or have they already?).

Try building your dream Mercedes on the, say, German version of their website. That should give you an indication of the price.

I remember doing that with the Boxster, and it was about

If you're still keen on importing then I'd advise doing it yourself. The paperwork isn't difficult and there's no middle-man's commission to pay.
