Default Which induction kit?

Can't decide what to get. Was thinking about replacement filter, snorkel and cooling panel. Or should I just get a FPIK?

Make your own.

They are all overpriced pipes and filters - as long as it sounds nice and doesn't spoil performance, that's the best you will get.

So what I do have or what would I buy if my K&N FIPK hadn't come with the car ?

Kit:
Probably an eBay special long ram induction kit with good quality filter.

Cooling Panel:
Probably an Alloy Craft polished stainless one if I really wanted to bling up the appearance of the bonnet latch area.

Cooling panels are for poseurs.

(... and block the air flow from the air guide)

Cosworth replacement filter
Standard air box dont like the snorkel because of cutting bonnet areas would like to mod the box ie blank the oem intake and put a cai from the end to inner wing to front bumper area

I quite like the idea of this, apparently they allow more flow than the standard one whilst giving the same level of filtration. Is there any difference in induction noise over the standard one? Where did you get it?
