Default The insects are back in force!

I just came back up from B'north to S'bury, top-down in the dusk, great sunset to my left, exhaust howling, three figure speeds. Wonderful. But, by the time I got to S'bury I could hardly see out of the windscreen. I must have had a gazillion bugs of all shapes and sizes splattered all over it. Bloody things

Oh, and I learned NOT to use the windscreen washers in top down/windows up mode

P.S.
Has anyone yet found a good, easy to use bug cleaner for the body work?

Getting on well with the Chief Constable now then Pete?

A clay bar is by far the easiest way to get the buggers off....

Did you noticed that there wasn't a gradual build up. One day there are no insects the next they are spread all over your windscreen.

Aw well, just think about it - it's roof down time

Baby wipes. If the bugs are really bad lay then on top and leave them for 5 minutes and the bugs will wipe off with ease.

....and the car smells nice afterwards.

The bugs are not too bad yet I only got on on my visor on the way home last night.

I got water on the side windows that then flowed up and around the sides, liberally spraying my right arm and shoulder and the seat backs
