Default Introductions

Hi everyone, after buying my S2000 (upgrading slightly from a mk2 1988 vw polo) I thought I could make my introductions. Am loving the car, although have found it pretty daunting in the snow (using my polo to get to work in the bad weather) - I found myself losing the back end without acelerating, braking, or turning when the snow was bad so thought better not to take the risk!

Have not seen a single other one around these parts (Lincolnshire) since buying it which adds to the appeal slightly

Phenominal car to drive, silverstone with the red leather - many years of happy motoring ahead I hope!

Thanks guys. Am getting some new tyres tomorrow - apparently bridgestone have discontinued the old recommended rear tyres so I have to buy a complete new set even though only the rears need replacing ?

Never mind had a fantastic blast with the roof down yesterday to get the best value from the old tyres , nothing too crazy yet though as am still getting used to the car - the upgrade from a 1.3 banger which I've owned since I was 19 to the rwd honda is still putting a huge smile on my face but don't want to give the insurance company any reason to hit me for even more cash!

Is it recommended to take the s2000 to a track to get the feel for the limits if you are a new owner? I've seen that quite a few people are for it but I've heard some horror stories from people who have sorely regretted tracking their cars...

Tracking the car is a must

I wouldn't worry too much about replacing all 4 if the fronts are good.

you're also handy for Centre Gravity if you are ever interested in having the geometry checked.
