Insurance renewal...

€1311 Fully Comp, €600 Excess, StepBack no claims protection (50%->20%->10%).... Full NCB, will be just gone 27 at renewal, IAM member.

God damn 6 penalty points! I reckon it would be about €350 less if I had none... that said, most companies wont quote me at all - either due to age or refusing point blank to quote the car(possibly a new-business only thing).

Axa wanted €3400!!

Well as some of you may know, I am very sorry to say....

I have crashed the S2k, and have written her off.

I managed to walk away okay with no frontal damage at all.

I'm incredibly lucky to say the least!
Gonna miss the car, as she was my pride and joy and absolutely adored my time owning her. just can't believe it happened and the way it did too.

So I don't know what the next steps are, but all that matters is that I am ok after the smash, It was a very lucky escape!

Exactly! I was incredibly lucky, I nearly flipped the car hitting a very large kerb and only got saved by a lampost.

I will probably buy another S in a few months time, just need to recoup first.

I'm really only starting to miss the car today, quite sad about it, as I'm sure you guys all know, I adored her with all my heart!
RIP lil silverstone s2k!
