Hi - welcome back. My S2000 has also been parked up for the last 2.5 years, not quite the 7 you have. I expect to be getting it back on the road in the next two months or so.

Just the seized brakes to deal with, NCT and then I'm off

Wow 7 and 2.5 years off the road, i think i managed 1.5 years off in mine but i had another S in between. I hope they were dry stored and there isn't too much seized.

Well, I'll see how much is / isn't seized... the bolts are probably in there too... but it was dry stored... so fingers crossed!

Well, mine was with a cover on top (see in the photo). Doesn't mean stuff won't seize though... but the paintwork is still ok-ish

Thanks... just going to fix brakes and see what happens (I suspect alignment or emissions)

So, out of storage, I sorted the rear brakes (were binding) and sent into the NCT (equivalent of an MOT for our UK friends). Passed first time with no issues... back in action!

Interesting fact, cranked first time with no issues despite sitting idle for the last 2.5 years (I did replace the battery!)
