Default It's an absolute monster

250bhp never felt so good

What a car!, very rapid in a sraight line, only one thing quicker all day up the straights- some silly powered escort cossie..

Brakes: WOW, how glad i am I i spent some cash on them- was taking 15 meters out of everything, unbeleivable power and no fade after 20 laps driving as hard as I could (bearing in my was the cars first time out )

Handling: erm it's a monster, conditions were perfect too, turn in oversteer, turn exit oversteer, power oversteer, the thing just will not understeer
I spun it about 7 times, twice at the hairpin trying to show off and 3 times into duffus By the afternoon had it pretty much sussed though..

Bear in mind it hasn't had a proper geo set up it was ok..

Was learning the car by the end of the interupted session- more on that later

Incidents:
No1

Blew the de-cat mounting off but managed to get soem of the guys preparing cars for the racing tommorow to sort me out and weld it back on

No2
Blowing a seal on your oil take off filter plate at 100+mph and it going sttraight onto the exhaust manifold and you being blinded going into duffus was scary

Slammed on the brakes and tryed to kill the power, once stopped manged to undo the harness and scramble out of the car, to be met by a few cars , henry included having to drive round me

His face was a picture getting towed back to the pits, eh mate

They thought i had launched a rod out the side

Fingers crossed i managed to kill the engine quick enough but will investigate tommorrow/next week, need to get a better take of plate made up & will chase mocal for that.

Left about a 100mm oil trail leading into duffus and closed the track for about 25 mins

As a final word on RWD, those of you who have never drivin it especially on track you are robbing yourself, i am a convert, and i loved it.

pps to that rally scoob, you got pumped good and proper lmfao and he wasn't happy

Even with the tribulations i absolutely love this car and will be going to every track event i can manage, as long as they are dry, in the wet the thing would just be scary!

Foz- and now i am away out to get trollied to celebrate the birth of my friend and his wifes forst baby- everyones coming round here

You sound delighted mate, congratulations. The S2K is indeed a cracking car, I'm glad you like it.

I didn't have quite as much fun as you, but I did have a nice afternoon with my mate who has a Nighthawk Black ATR. We spent most of it cleaing the cars, then a substantially lesser amount of time getting them dirty again.

Work colleague of mine helps in pit crew for his mate who races minis. There was a race on this weekend - dunno which day. If he was there, I'll no doubt here from him on monday about the S2000 that left a massive oil trail on the track

Think the weights down to under 1000kg's so the backs too stiff hence the oversteer, will be getting it corner weighted asap to tell for sure and to get a decent suspension kit for it!

Yeah going to the ring and Spa in august so looking forward to that!
