I believe you are right, this is why I'm asking.

Didnt honda pain stakingly put this in to stop it robbing precious power???
Most cars have electric PS now, lower emissions being the main driver for it.

How often do you need to do power steering fulid?

Sorry, had to put the Power Steering fluid joke in

Almost put the cambelt joke in.

Sad, but I was bored!

Some people prefer hydraulic power steering, but I have found the electric PS in the S VERY consistent where hydraulic, especially at lower speeds, tends to lose power.

Very inefficient spinning a hydraulic pump all the time.

I have searched to no avail and saw this thread. Please can someone tell me how much brake fluid is needed for a change?

A litre SHOULD be enough, i'd go with 1.5 to be absolutely sure as sometimes you'll be suprised how much crap you can have in your system!

When you are draining/flushing your fluid, once the reservoir is empty, take it off and clean all the scum out of it. Same applies for clutch. Believe me - there will be plenty

Oh and if you must use water to clean them - make sure the thing is BONE DRY before you put it back on.

Personally, i just use some kitechen towel wrapped around a flathead screwdriver.

Thanks Ron. I won't be doing it, just supplying the fluid - new Dixcel discs and pads going on, so adding some Motul fluid too.

I've ordered 1.5l from Opie, so hopefully ok.

Yeah, will be enough that - IIRC I used about 1.2 on Budgie's and that was really giving it a good bleed.

if you got any brake fluid left, you could always use it to bleed your clutch too.
