What did Lee use for getting the rust off (or masking the rust) on the brake discs?

Great job by the way

Not sure about the discs. I can only assume that overspray from the wheel cleaner also cleaned the discs, unless he cleaned them with a proper product. Maybe the man himself will be able to answer

Did you have cover at your place ?

I'm seriously considering getting Tangoed, but I don't have anywhere to cover the car.

No, my car was parked off the road on my drive. Towards the end of the day the weather started to look like raining but luckily it held off. The only thing he needed was some space to work in and a power supply. Best bet is to drop him a PM or a call, and chat about what you need.

Wobbly, thanks for the plug, I need to email you a link for one of my badges now

Think next time I will have to dress the hood rather than polish your hardtop though as the hood is looking a bit dull

Rev, the rust is part and parcel of the brakes you can just minimise it a bit with some good dressing, I use Meguiars Hyper dressing. LTB cover is not a problem but things can get cancelled at the last minute if there is any chance of rain. I do need a good bit of space to work in though so I dont annoy the neighbors. I am looking into getting a workshop next year once there is enough business to support this. At the moment to keep costs down I am mobile

Thanks again for a great job, very pleased with the result. Typicaly when I walked out to my car tonight I found it had been used for target practise by pigeons! I've washed it off already. It you could send me that link I would appreciate it, I'm starting to build up a respectable signature. Also you mentioned a deal on a wash kit if you could drop me a line. Cheers
