Default Ive had enough

of this miserable bl****y summer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, as a great favour to all my fellow S2000 drivers, I have today put the hardtop back on the car.
This means there will now be two weeks of sunshine for all my fellow drivers to enjoy, well, thats how it usually works - and yes the sun is out today.
Anyway, enjoy whilst I bask in my martyrdom.

What's a 'hardtop' ?

Had some lovely top down action today

Car's in for MOT & service today + insurance is now due.

It's an expensive 9th birthday for my baby.

You've had enough?

I've had problems with my s since i bought it, noises, knocking, iffy electrics, broken gearboxes and diffs.. so i hear you.

As for hardtops. I'd consider fitting mine if i had one! Refuse to buy anything but a mooncraft style solution.

I have spent the summer (thats a joke !!) with the Tintop off........most of the year in fact, anyone who knows me knows it wasnt an easy choice, but since about April I have been using the car as it was made to be and had loads of top down action ! so to speak.
But as M15 has just found out, soon as I get fed up enough with the crap weather and put the TINTOP back on, ..... the bloody sun comes out !!
Brilliant

What sort of limp-wristed weakling moans just because it has not been wall to wall 90 degrees sunshine for weeks one end. HELLO this is England.

I cannot remember when I last had to have the roof up for any extended period of time because of heavy rain.
As far as most proper hardy sports car owners are concerned if its not teeming down the hood stays down.
For crying out loud, the car has a powerful heater, is draught free ( particularly with both side windows up ) and if you don't like fresh air at ALL temperatures go buy a boring invisible claustrophobic family 4 door saloon - not forgetting to don a beige 'car coat', install matching cushions for the back window shelf and a National Trust sticker for the windscreen.
