Jacking Points
I'm just having my tyres changed by a mobile tyre fitter and I have just noticed he has the car jacked up in the middle an the back with both rear wheels off the floor.
Is it ok to jack the car from that point, is there going to be any damage to the chassis os something in that area
Cheers

There are jacking points in the centre at the front and rear, although I can't remember exactly what they are (possibly diff at the rear).
When I saw my dealer do mine recently, I think they used some rail across the rear, underneath the car. They do a lot of S2000's so I guessed they knew what they were doing.
If you do a search for jacking points on here, you should find the correct ones in the centres.

A quick google has shown that there are several Hondas with jacking points in the centre rear. I haven't got the manual out to check whether the S2000 has one but it seems possible.
If you want an authoritative answer ring your local dealer's service dept. If they go mental you're in trouble...

he has done well if he is just using a trolley jack straight to the diff..as you need a very low and long reach to get to the diff...I need to first jack one side up and put a jack stand before the trolley can reach the diff
I have a standard Halfords trolley jack and I can get that onto the rear jack point without having to lift the car ....... but I can't get to the front jack point without jacking up one side first.

Both wheels? The side jacking points are the best place for axle stands. If you want all four wheels off the ground put an axle stand under each side point in turn. Put a bit of carpet (or something equally unmarking) on top of the jack and axle stands to make sure you don't mark the body.
If you're going to put axle stands in place one by one take care to make sure that the car is stable on the existing ones while you jack up the next one. If you can jack up two at once it'll help the balance of the stands.
