Over the past week I have fitted a couple of things to my S2k, mainly a J's Racing manifold, M&M 4.78 final drive, and a Project Mu BBK. I cant floor the car yet as I am still bedding in the diff and the BBK, but am noticing like a hissing sound coming from the manifold when i press the gas pedal. It does not hiss on idle only when i press the gas. Any ideas what might be causing it to hiss? I still have the stock cat for the time being.

 

It's normal, it has a slightly different sound.

Thanks, but am worried at themoment that I might be lean, and got meself an Emanage ultimate, will see how it goes!!

PS: Did you notice any difference in power with yours?

Low to mid end gains, I noticed it on acceleration, although no Dyno.

I definitely noticed a different sound though.

Also you will have less heat baffles around it and therefore more noise
