Default J's racing 60RS singlepipe

Has anyone owned the above exhaust?

I'm wanting to know what its like and if its loud? does it drone up hills etc? (with decat fitted), i have owned a spoon N1 and that was on the loud side but not ear piercing loud (better with a bung in).

I'm interesting in the performance, weight and sound.

The exhaust thread doesnt have a lot of info really.

I think markS2kcU and Bibbs both had one fitted to their cars. Might be worth dropping one of them a PM as neither seem to post on here so much these days.

No drowning at all. Especially with test pipe. Very quite (not as OEM one) until you hit V-tec. After that is not loud from the bad side but it has an amazing sound. You will love it

Only used it with a Test Pipe (still have it on the car).

The exhaust is superb. Terrific quality, very low weight compared to stock (i really couldnt believe it when i first picked the piece up). You can literally pick it up with just one finger.

They only rev range in which i could do with a little less noise is betwenn 3.500-4.500 and with the throttle position at about 50%+. It is then when you cannot really hear the passenger speak

Above V-tec is another story altogether. It sounds like a racing preped piece of machine.

If the piping gets too hot after some spirited driving, just before the redline, before upshifting you also get quite a few flames..

It quite feels like sex i tell you!!

I have one on mine (Bibbs old one)

No real drone with the decat, its just loud. Sounds like a race car all the time, over 6000rpm is just nuts. 80mph crusing is pretty quiet though.

It is a bit hardcore loud for most I would imagine! Especially with the roof down.

It is a very very well made exhaust and as mentioned very light. The car revs right to the redline with no drop off - when I first fitted it I kept hitting the limiter. Definately feels faster which is verified by the local 'Hill challenge' previously I could hit 85mph, now it will do 87mph.

Do you also confirm its quiet and drone free at 3-3.5k rpm?

Is it as loud as a spoon N1? - becuase TBH it was too loud for me even at the above rev range

Greek members that have owned a Spoon N1 exhaust do say that it is quite louder than a J's 60 RS.

If its any good as far as credibility goes this video shows the Spoon piece to be one of the loudest (if not the loudest one).
