Default J's racing oil smoother

I've had another lucky year on the MegaMeet raffle and on top of the Ricks voucher I got last year I won two prizes this year ! It was a really nice surprise in the post today - thank you to all involved for the donations and organisation

One of the prizes is a pot of J's Racing oil smoother powder. This is something I didn't know I needed and I'm wondering what is it meant to do and what is this white powder made of ?

A look in the interwebs suggest that it helps quieten the engine and helps the oil last longer or something (mostly Japanese info). I was planning on putting the new Titanium FST edge in next service - do you think it might actually undo the work of the Castrol engineers or just be a waste on top of the new technology ?

Echo that, just received two prizes in the post. I got the Ricks voucher this year! Too bad I bought my headrests a couple of months ago. Doh! Think I'll try out one of his gear knobs instead. Got a motorbike taster session too, but I've already ridden bikes, and it's in Surrey anyway, so I might offer that to anyone who fancies a go and is nearer.

Anyway, back on topic... Never heard of oil smoother!

I got the Voodoo Pearl with six speed engraving - it's a good match to the existing silver radio door, not the heaviest though but I don't think you need weight with such a good gearbox anyway.

Cool, thanks. That's what I'm looking at.
