Default Jensen Button in S2000

I'd seen one vid of Button in an S, but not this one, which is longer.

Quite good.

Wonder who owns it? Must be a JDM you would think, but its got a UK rear plate style.

If you've seen it already - I really DGAF

PS - what rear wing is that? Looks lower than a Mugen.

Yes it is a Mugen rear wing. The car is owned by the Honda F1 team. I was taken out in this car as part of the S2000 Trackday Experience back in June last year.

It looks small for a Mugen wing - almost acceptable!

What engine mods did it have Jamie?

Very few in the way of engine mods. Just a Mugen CAI, Mugen thermostat and rad fan switch. Everything else was standard. I guess the F1 team were under orders not to up the power in anyway and showup the showroom cars.

They had obviously gone to town on the suspension as it handled like a dream

My theory about the car is that they have kept the car looking almost standard and upgraded the lights to keep it similar in appeareance to the showroom models. Honda must roll this car out for demos every now and then and they don't want to confuse the public with a different looking S2000 to that which you can buy. Might explain the upgrade of the lights. It did use to be red as well, so it got a respray at some point as well.
