Just a Little Update...
Having fitted a MY04+ front bumper recently...I decided that after seeing robs_silver_s2k...which is actually RNBP, I wanted a splitter too.
I bought a urethane splitter from eBay, and was just over £100 delivered from the US. Whilst I'm not going to post a link, the seller has slipstream in their name, and the picture is of a LBB N/S front corner.
The feedback for this item is very good; it certainly helped me to decide if it would be a good fit...which it definitely is
I have also added an MY04+ rear bumper recently, again, from eBay for just over £100, which had a few scuffs, but straight
I had the following work done this week to bring it all together:
Smoothing of washer jet holes
Fitting and painting of splitter
Painting of front bumper, blended into the wings and bonnet...which is a bonus as the lacquer on my bonnet was pi$$ poor and the O/S wing had a couple of chips in it. I'm actually glad they painted the faux vents too, they look better IMO...although I'll probably get a set of the inbound Zunsport grilles anyway
Painting of the rear bumper
For the hellachav lot, and those who like a smooth front bumper, I like the H badge, and CBA with faffing about with sticky numberplates/double sided sticky tape/velcroed plates.
The paint job is superb...really very, very, very good...the match is excellent, on what is a tricky colour.
to the guys at Hendy Accident Repair Centre in Fareham.
Gratuitous photo of the front...forgot to take one of the rear

Next on the jobs list...fit MY04 rear lights. I have them in the garage, but it'll probably have to wait 'til summer leave, when I'll have enough time and no exams! You're probably wondering why I didn't just get an 04 in the first place. Well, I bought this car when hideously drunk, so had little option
I have also spent way too much time/money on other areas to warrant doing it again...plus the fact that my road tax is alot cheaper too
Now for the inevitable insurance hike!
