Just sat in 04 model
Well thought I would have a sit in the new 04 model as I am having mine serviced today.
From the outside it looks good, wheels look better although not as nice as a nice set of after market 18's would. From the rear I love the new exhausts they look great, the light clusters I am not too sure about yet, having one reversing light in one side and the fog in the other is not to my taste I like things symetrical ! The front hasn't changed too much, light washers are colour coded , slightly different grill but I did notice orange indicators and I am not keen on these at all, surely white are better with orange bulbs !
Inside it has a different steering wheel and the centre console is much improved . One thing I notice is that the dial options to control the heating (screen, feet etc) are white again just like my 02 but I noticed some 03 models this weekend were white and orange . Also tweeters in doors are diff shape. Stereo remains the same .
On the whole it is not a lot different than mine which is good cos it means I havent got to get one ..
If it was a dramatic change I would consider it but in the mean time I am happy to drive around in an old
18 month model !!!!

They're an optional extra, Rich - and Honda STILL haven't published the options list with the prices. I've been chasing my dealer for details of how much the 04 chin spoiler will cost, but he says that dealers simply haven't been told yet.
The speakers are available in the US though - and judging from some of the posts in S2000 Talk which I've skimmed, they can be made to be retrospectively compatible with 99-03s. That said, the reaction seems to have been a bit lukewarm to them, in terms of both cost and peformance. I think I'll be sticking with my as-yet-unfitted Lucid rear panels acquired from Mr F Knuckles on disposal of his car.

I only asked for it yesterday and they seemed reluctant to give it to me I will wait a week or so then get Honda UK involved

huh, it doesn't have any
As for the headrest speakers, it has a good picture of them in the UK brouchure, to be honest they look a bit out of place and 'stuck-on' but in a choice of having them or not, i gotta have!!

I sat in one a week or so ago when I went into my dealer.
Just a couple of things:
1) the console metal surround bit (has gone even darker from the 99->02 change) now approx black - don't like it myself
2) the front lights seem very different to my 01 car. Not sure about compared to a MY02.. but I didn't like them.
3) Didn't like the radio door - sorry all those who were in ABs failed GB
4) liked the extra large cup holder thingy.
5) Loved the wheels
6) MJ liked the RNBP one we saw at sainsburys a day or two later, I wasn't sure compared to my MCB, but the one we saw was v.v.dirty which doesn't help.
