Pete - If I get the car it will because I like it and want to drive it. I've never really cared about residuals before, and I imagine you are correct.

Much like the S2000, you pay for that permenant grin on your face.

Looked especially lardy on TG tonight........ Especially head to head with the RX8.

Decent lap time though.

Alright, well, side-by-side would be a more accurate description - that's what I meant.

And I deliberately didn't mention actual laptimes for the very reason that you mention, Dave

I've got a day off tomorrow. If the weather if halfway decent, I might just find where my local Mazda and Nissan dealers are (some idea of the former, no idea at all about the latter!) and go and do my own little comparative test!

Yeah, because the Skyline blocks all the other cars!

Rich

Nice car just been checking out on the nissan site. I have had my eye out for the 350 since they anounced its launch. Prices are very reasonable too.

Personally I like to drive a flip top feels more seat of the pants even if it may be slower round a TG test track.

Follow your need for excessive and copious speed not your head or your heart and Im sure youll make the right choice.

PS dont fancy selling your hard top then?
