Keeping the rear plastic window flexible?

Anyway, back to the matter at hand, I'll take a kettle to my back window tomorrow, but I'm scared.

Indy servicing is reasonable, still count on double what you pay Honda though
Running a 996 on a budget will also screw any residual value left in the car so having it serviced at a lesser known indy will hurt later.
And if anything goes wrong with the Porsche you will look back at the Honda with dewy eyes and fond memories.

How can you compare a 996 and an S2k, not in the same league at all. As for 'bargain' Honda prices I have seen 2

So did you manage to overcome your fear gaz or were you a big girl?
Top tip though.
To keep the clarity of the window: I use the BMW cleaner/ restorer paste and - on Nick's (Graves) recommendation - some Meguiar's Scratch X. I've managed to restore the majority of the clarity, but it had been really abused by the previous owner! I also use a Muz roof well mat. Only problem i've had is with the white residue left by both pastes...
To remove creases: I use a length of foam pipe insulation from B&Q as the rood is being collapsed - to prevent folding. I also use a kettle of boiling water to get any creases out (when i cant be arsed to use the roll!)

Just to confirm for others that my v-shaped crease in the middle was because the screen wasn't folding properly. From now on I'm making sure that if it looks like it's going to crease, I get out the car, push the screen in the middle and this ensures it folds cleanly, and causes less stress on the screen.
