Default Key fob replacement

Hi,

I mentioned on another thread a few days ago that I had dropped my key fob, and it now doesn't unlock my door.

The keyfob has an FCC of ezsdei476 and looks like...

I spoke to a car alarm specialist to see if they could program it, but they said that I would need the original PIN number from the alarm. He also informed me, that due to the fact that I have the above key-fob, and another two-button equivalent, that the alarm would be a..

Avital Maxx 3 ( http://www.electrifyingtouch.co.uk/avital/...cat_1_alarm.htm )

I bought this car about a year ago, and don't have any documentation which indicates a PIN number for the alarm. I've contacted the two previous owners, and neither has any documents relating to this.

I'm worried that I might have to replace my whole alarm system if I can't find the PIN number, or does anyone know of any other way to program the key-fob ?

Cheers
Rich.

There are instructions, but this guy was telling me that I need a PIN code in order to use the instructions.

Maybe he's just telling me that so that I panic and buy a new alarm system from him.
