Spun Titanium Voodoo, with the gear pattern on the top, is THE way forward

Get yourself along to Rick's website and order one without further delay

Oooooo - a knob thread, we havent had one of these for yonks.

Before the whole thing degenerates into induendo, I agree with Fletch and MT - Voodoo Spun Ti is the way forward. However I bought mine withour any engraving - I know I am driving an S2000 and I know where the gears are!!!!

I've been toying with the idea of a new knob as I have found that when attemting a really quick change sometimes my hand has slipped off the OEM knob

Is the knob easy to remove??

Personally I think that Honda made the knob to small.......I've noticed this a lot about Jap knobs being a bit on the small side.....maybe Jap hands are smaller?

The OEM knob (certainly for the 02 onwards, anyway) is easily removed, Paul. All you need is either a spanner of the requisite size or a pair of mole grips or parallel pliers to undo the nut which holds the knob in place.

The new knob is countersunk and so doesn't have a nut to hold it in place - you simply screw it down onto the shaft :fnarr fnarr:

When you have a shiny knob very easy for your hand to slip off. I have sometimes experienced this even with Rick's knob. Might I recommend some nice black leather driving gloves.

Honda's knob is easy to get off.

If you go for the option of Rick's Magnum knob (I think that's what he calls it) it's quite a size. A good handful.

Is it sad that I'm typing this with a big childish grin on my face?

I still dont know the difference between Muz's and Rick's knobs. They look about the same size, but i guess Muz's knob is made from different material. They look fairly similar to me.

I could be wrong, but I don't think Muz does a titanium knob, Ian. I think his aluminium knobs are probably very similar to the comparable one which Rick sells.

It's a purely personal thing, but I thought that the shiny Al knobs were a bit too bling for my taste - I prefer the more satiny finish on the spun Ti.

(A lot of people would question whether that's enough to justify the considerable extra $$ which that costs though! )
