Car looks like it's running well Mike - hope you're enjoying being back in an S2k again?

Must try and get a track day or two in next year - think Campbell is hankering over a Spa trip in the S - but would need to upgrade/replace it before that I think. I've been keeping my eye out for the ideal replacement (MY04-05 low mileage with Black interior - Mrs F won't sanction red!) but they're harder to come by these days!

Catch up soon

Nice clean driving.

Knockhill seems very interesting with lots of blind spots due to big inclines. That always feels nice and demanding!

Also, nice helmet you got!!

Let us know how the new tires get on with the car!

Mine is still on standard dampers other wise I would have 888/48's on mine, just think they are to much for a standard car. Plus the AD08's have less grip so more drifting

I find the AD08's a really good compromise for road and track, had them on my Trophy too and loved them!

Looking good

Nice driving BTW, from sitting here yours looks to handle the way I want mine to! Committed but still playful once you push a little to hard.

My favourite track, just so so good undulating and cambered in all the right (wrong) places. Great driving though some really well controlled slides.

Main reason for change is mileage - 135k now and thinking if I can get a decent example then should have a good few years of relatively trouble free motoring, in a semi practical sports car. Kellie and I have looked at possibility of an Elise/Exige for a couple of years but just can't justify the loss of practicality. I can fit the wee man and his buggy into the S2k no problem - as well as a trolley full of shopping if needs be - so it really is the perfect compromise.

Having said that I've been looking for a while for the "perfect" S2k and it hasn't turned up yet! So old faithful will remain for a while. Service and MOT tomorrow - fingers crossed!

Cheers
