So after that, you could have bought an OEM one

Good info though.

I have used CatsDirect ones in the past with no issues.

All except one was meant to be OEM standard. apparently not all o2 sensors respond quick enough for the ECU hence causing minor issues

Definatly makes a difference, just filled up after 240 miles of normal spirited driving, still with three knotches left on the guage, The car also feels more responsive, since i have been replacing sensors regularly lately, i have been reverting back to the original, I have knoticed on the original on say 6 gear if you blip the acceleration the car mildly responded, but with the new sensor it does pull better in the gears. For myself it was

Note that the lambda isn't used when you are booting it so the fuel economy gain is for normal driving and idle.

It's been niggling me that I don't think I've been getting full fuel economy (although it's difficult to tell given the gradual degredation). I got 370 miles out a tank once, now I've never got near 350, even just tootling on the motorway. Spirited driving doesn't seem to make much of a difference either, so maybe it is the lambda. 60k up recently so quite probable. Even a small increase in economy will reap

Do the Cats Direct ones come with the connectors, or do you have to solder them?

Also, are the primary and secondary sensors different, other than maybe the length of the wiring? I just emailed a request through to lambdasensor.com, with the part number for the secondary one, and they said it's not listed with their suppliers.

My Ebay one doesn't seem to be working, but I'm not convinced it's a problem with the sensor just yet. Think the cat may be at fault.
