The front LEDs have turned the sidelights into mini HIDs

They now light up the area in front of the car so you can actually see from inside that the sidelights are on.

I received mine this morning and have fitted them to the back no problem.....but the fronts are a bit more problematic!

I took the three clips out and had the wheel on full lock but i still couldn't get enough clearance to get my fat paws in about the bulb holder

will try jacking car up a bit later and try again once the skin grows back on my knuckles

I found the first time was a bit fiddly but after I had done it once it became easier and I could do it quite easily.

After removing the clips you have to 'pop' the liner section down where it is scored with a 'v'.

You need to twist the end of the holder away from you/towards centre of car and then shuffle the holder out of the housing through your fingers.

I forced the liner down to get both hands in, one to hold and the other to twist the holder. Took five minutes start to finish.

Might be easier if you remove the indicator holder first.

When you put it back turn the sidelights on so the LED lights the way.

Wife/girlfriend/passing child with small hands might come in useful

I filed the ends to diffuse the light more - photos below. I ended up using these for the front too.
How, exactly?

The lamp is made up of 6 LEDs each with a little lens in front which focuses and projects the light like a torch in a narrow beam.

For the rear only, I took my trusty Swiss army penknife and filed off the lenses to create a matt surface that made the light emitted more diffuse
