Awesome pictures!! slide4 is fantastic

What tyre pressures were you running? You can really see the tyre deflecting on the rim in that pic, fantastic shot!!

No its the angle that the shot was taken from, i backed off before the corner to let the elise go because I want to slide round the corner (as you can see from the pic). :->

Standard tyre pressure to start with then after a few laps upp'ed them an extra 5 psi.

I was surprised how easy the S2K was to slide and hold. I used to drive and track a supercharged MX5 which was an excellent care to practice and learn car control etc. The S2K is like a bigger more powerful MX5.

Cost me a lot in tyres to do the whole oversteer thing with confidence though. If you want to learn the limits of your car then an airfield day (with lots of run-off) is the best place for it.

They were taken by a professional photographer working for a company called Picture Manangement Uk Ltd. They go around track days and take pictures during the day. They then sell them to the drivers. They have an impressive setup.

I had 35 images taken from my car which they then burnt to a CD. (

must be a digital SLR if they did it that way - good business once you have the gear since the CD cost less than a quid.
