Hi All,

Sold my S2000 last year due to baby arriving and missing it.

Have since moved to Ibiza (well half way there) and thinking that we're going to need a 2nd car when we get there.

Can't really find much in the way of S2000s for sale in Spain, only one I've found was €20,000! So was thinking I'd do well to get a LHD one from somewhere else and bring it down and then put it through its ITV in Spain.

Any recommendations where to look?

 

Have a look on the belgian/dutch forum: www.honda-s2000.nl, there's always a few up for sale there.

They will be a lot more expensive than RHD cars are here...

 

Will do, see what you mean about the prices, even a bog standard one in Germany is €9000

I may as well get a UK RHD and pay the extra to change over the lights etc!

 

That's what I would do, you can convert the lights without having to buy new ones, and if you buy a pre-facelift you don't even have to change the fog light either.

 

Really? Thats a bonus. Think thats normally the biggest cost.

 

There was an AP2 forsale on either Gumtree or Autotrader?

I'd look at that.



It's an actual AP2 before someone shouts at me; as in 2.2litre.

The headlights are OK for french mots so should be okay in Spain. You might find a lhd one in France under 12k € for a circa year 2000.

Having a rhd in Spain might be tough, overtaking is a nightmare.

Yeh I remember our French counter parts saying they paid a large premium to get a LHD version. We obviously explained it was there fault for driving on the wrong side anyway!!!
