LIGHTNING Strikes!!
Auto Express claim to have an exclusive report on the new Vauxhall Lightning. Whether this is true or not, it does sound like a fine motor, and yes, I know it's a Vauxhall, but.....well.......it's not really is it...................
Vauxhall VX Lightning (on the Auto Express website)
*EDITED* - see link - http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/
Spot the number of similarities to the S!!!!..............still, I think I'll have to test drive one when it's available.

(Mods - if this has breached cthree's copyright ruling, please feel free to delete/modify/whatever!)

San, I've got a feeling it's this kind of thing that cthree's note is aimed at, so I suspect it's going to have to be removed.
HOWEVER! Before I do so, it looks like you have cut and pasted it from somewhere, in which case can you post a link to it instead? No breach of copyright if you're only posting a link to material displayed on their own website.......

Yes, Del, it is. At least as far as my (limited) understanding of copyright goes.
You can avoid an accusation of plaigirism by citing the source. But the copyright is still infringed if you reproduce it without their permission.
So, for example, scanning in an article out of a mag (which is what I think has lead to cthree's edict, since it took place extensively on the main US board) is an infringement because the publisher hasn't given permission to do so. They would argue that you're potentially depriving them of sales since people don't need to then go out and buy the mag.
Where's Big Ted when you need him?
He's an intellectual property specialist, so he might have a considerably more informed view than mine! Your public need you, Ted!
San, can you edit your original post to include the link and to explain the story that you're drawing attention to, and where it can be found on the site?

TBH i think that copyright law sucks - if they were to sue cthree for us posting a scan of their magazine they would be mad - commercially we are giving exposure to their magazine and their website, which if people read it may well become regular purchasers. If their lawyers think like that then they need some serious commercial acumen pumped into them
Thanks for the info though san
