Lightweight battery
I'm looking for a lightweight battery, what do people have?
Can these be used for daily driving? Thanks |
Varley 25 is a decent choice.
Ive got a Spoon battery tray stay FS if needed :) |
I got a Varley Red Top 25.
On my third one and I generally get 18months out of them before they have to be replaced. During the summer they are fine but in winter they will die if the car is left for over a week without being used. |

(First lightweight battery I had was the Spoon, it cost about twice as much and didn't last as long as the Varley) |
I had an RMD one on my old S, decent weight saving for the price being essentially typical acid battery however I destroyed it due to not being used enough. And you'll only get 5 days leaving it sat before it needs charged.

Maybe i should wait until its not a daily driver then I think. Thanks for your help guys
