Hi here,

It could be one of 2 things.

Ballast power pack under the headlight unit, gone as they tend to with age and damp.

Or the cheaper problem could be a bulb, you can buy a set of bulbs from a UK supplier for

You can do it yourself, its no biggie.
Remember though, if you take the car in they WILL tell you that the brakes are 75% worn.

I have a selection of the workshop manual if you want it PM me your email addy.

Start with a swap of the lamps to see if its that, or a ballast.

Ah, sounds good then.

If the workshop manual shows how (inc checking the ballast resistor etc) than thats a good plan rather than sending it to the dealers, who I have next to no faith in at all TBH.
