Smile Locked keys in the boot

Did a very silly thing on Friday. Left work, popped boot, put laptop in boot, messed around with a satnav i'd borrowed from work and closed the boot. Shite! I'd put my keys on the floor of the boot when i'd been messing around with the satnav and i hadn't unlocked the car.

RAC came out, and with a long pokey metal thing we managed to get the cubby open between the seats in the hope of popping the boot, but of course the button is disabled when the car is locked

Well done honda on making the car secure as the RAC man an myself couldn't get into the car. So the RAC kindly drove me to my mothers house to pick up some spare house keys, then to my house to pick my spare car keys and then back to the car.

RAC. Nice bloke too. He'd only been called out to one other s2000 in all his time with the rac, and it turned out that that was me when the engine in my last car blew

You could have always taken a machete to the roof

I did similar in one of my scoobs, luckily they have no top door frame so you can get the RAC hook through the top window seal quite easily!

Be there, done that!

Luckily I had taken my clubs out of the boot and was able to play my round of golf before getting a lift home to pick up the spares!

You'll never do it again.

I did it once in my old MX5, after putting the keys down in the boot while loading the shopping.

I made myself walk the 2 mile trip home to get the spare keys and then back to the supermarket again as penance and to remind myself not to do it again

I did this at a party in dundee once and my flatmate had to drive 140 mile round trip with the spare keys as there was no way I was forcing the locked centre consol open. We gave him a burger for his time

I take it you had locked the glove box? I did it once, but realised the glove box wasn't locked and opened the boot from there.
