The long wait
Hi All,
Just agreed to take my sister's S2000 off her hands when she moves to Naples in January. This is obviusly great news as I will then be the proud owner of an early (X 2000) Moonrock
but a loooooooong time to wait
I've been reading the forum for a few weeks now and to say the least I'm getting very excited. I drove the car a couple of weekends ago and had my first wave from a Yellow S2000 on Lee-on-Solent sea front how cool is that.
I'm already writing the list of things essential for the car including getting Tango'd, maybe a new roof and fitting new sounds (still has factory fit stereo
).
I will obviously post some pictures when I finally take ownership and would love to attend some meets and pick all your brains about track brakes etc (already read the FAQ). The car will be my toy and track car as I have a Nissan Murano for day to day.
Cheers and roll on Christmas

There are quite a few of us in and around South Hampshire.
You should come along to a meet, there is one held regularly on Hayling Island (non driving meet) and there is also a driving meet held every now and then on Sunday mornings starting and finishing at Loomies cafe and a nice big fry up.

Foilfear - I work in Kings Worthy, so I'll keep an eye out for you whenever I take the S. I don't drive it to work very often though, so if you see a sad looking bloke in a red Pug 106 looking longingly at you, take pitty and give me a wave

and welcome mate. Shame you have such a long wait, but as is said, the best treats are those most eagerly anticipated. It'll be here sooner than you think.
