Default Low Battery

When I start my car it sounds like a bit of a struggle for it to turn over and there is a single beep when I try. Its not failed me yet but doesn't sound far off. Does the beep mean the battery is low?

I know you can get batteries etc from Hellfrauds that theoretically are just as good as any other - any thoughts?

Particularly bad if left for 1 day or more with no driving....

Went out to get a charger/jump start combo thing today with a view to charging it and the guy checked my battery and the readout was 'replace battery' - he had one that was listed for an s2000 but it was much too big - the S has a specific sized plate that the battery sits on and this one was about 2 inches too wide???

Now I think I will have to go to the stealer to get one

Anyone know how much they cost?

(thought of ordering one online from somewhere but whats to say the right size will turn up based on today's experience?)

4 Years Old ..... and you can have it for free if you can collect it.

Never had a problem with it and it has never been fully run down.

I replaced it with a lightweight Spoon battery a few weeks ago.

James - be careful here!

Mail order batteries usually come without the acid as I found out on my bike

Try taking it off the car and leaving it on charge over night.
That should get you by until you can get a new one sorted!
