Default Lower brace

Thinking of fitting a front lower brace to the S, in an attempt to improve steering feel. Would I be right in thinking this would be the case?
Are there any significant differences between say the Cusco brace and the Whiteline from Muz, price aside or are they all a much of a muchness?

Cheers

In combination with an upper brace, it will improve damping and steering accuracy.

The improvement in feel is marginal, as the lack of feel is the result of the zero-offset kingpin (much 'feel' is actually kickback) and the inertia of the motor round the steering rack.

I find the fitting 'perfects' the car, without altering its character. If you look at where the engine mountings are relative to the lateral braces, you can see why you need them!

I have the Whitelines, since they allow oil changes and are inexpensive. The bracketing on the upper brace is flimsy, compared to a Spoon or Cusco.

But then again, one is also paying for name dropping and CF bling, which I am not really prepard to do.

with Nick on this.

I've got both braces and the car feels just right now. In fact, I drove a friend's S2000 without either brace and it feel downright nasty and sloppy in comparison. (maybe he's knackered his car, of course!)

Very good buy IMHO and you're also putting business Muz's way .: keeping a sponsor happy!

Completely agree only just got the x brace fitted after a month with only the strut brace. The combination is the way to go.

Sorry to hijack - but what are peoples thought on rear braces?

with the postive comments. Both my S' have had top and bottom front braces. Drove them both with and with out.
It does give a little more "feel" of the road surface.
I have a muz white line bottom X brace and a Cusco oval CF STB.
