Hi

My JDM was converted to show MPH but on my previous S2000 the little button on the console would allow me to choose between KMH and MPH. Any ideas on how I can make this JDM model do the same please?

Button missing or not functional? On the instrument cluster (not the console) on my USDM car.

It's not functional. Mine is the same.

Effectively they have modified the KPH to read in MPH when the car was imported, and now it's locked to that.

Oh, that is frustrating when driving abroad.... Still, no rush, probably not going abroad for a while

My Garmin GPS will display vehicle speeds in MPH or KMH -- and the local speed limits. Latest models can warn of sharp curves, animal crossings, and red light cameras. My model has updated maps every couple of months. I take it along when I rent cars at the airport on several continents. Cost is less than the extra rental cost for the GPS cars at the airport. My older model needed an inexpensive "chip" for France a few years ago. The newer models may download this. Haven't been outside of the US and Canada the last few years.

I modded my Japanese import dash for functionality.
Simple/not simple, you'll need to rewrite the eprom.
I'll see if i can find the link i used.
Taking the dash out was the least fun part.

Or just use Google maps on a phone, which is always up to date, and displays current speed and speed limits in the local "currency" .
