Default Lucid

Does anyone know if Lucid offers discounts to members of this board?

I can't remember whether somebody mentioned it or whether I'm making it up! (I think I'm losing my memo.... what was I saying??! )

I'm just about to buy my rear speakers

Alex.

Good News - Yes he does

Bad news - I can't remember how I think there is a code you put in when you place your order E-mail him and he will tell you - and you were worried about your memory!

Well I PM'ed Lucid and apparently there is no discount code at present - it's only when they run 'specials' or whatever...

So I ordered my speakers, at full price

The discount code is for Muz (9000rpm - for those that want to make a note of it) and ordering mats, etc from him in Oz.

related q chaps,

lucid speakers are mounted behing the seats right? well I'm wondering that because I'm 6'4" and have the seat right back that theres no point in buying them 'cos I won't be able to hear them anyway?

- what's the real experience like? as at motorway speeds the standards just aren't up to it.

Well I'm waiting for mine to be delivered at the moment (but seeing as I only ordered them Thursday morning I'm not expecting to get them just yet )

However, I expect that it'll just allow some rear-sound. Not particularly high-quality, but enough to add depth and power into the equation.

Others will be able to add more than me to this thread, but I would have thought that it would be mainly bass and mid-range, with not much treble...

Naturally I'll post more when I get them

Alex.

I'm 6'4 too and have the drivers seat all the way back, you still get high end fill from there which is very handy especially with the top down. I'd recommend new front speakers for pre-02 cars as a matter of course
