Lurker turned owner...
Hi Guys,
As the title suggests, I've been lurking here for a while and the week before last finally bought myself a Ladyboy blue 2003 S2000. I totally love it. Looked at a fair few before deciding on this example. It's pretty tidy, full service history (mostly with Honda) and only 43k miles. Immediate thoughts are:
1. New tyres on the rear, I'll go for the standard Bridgestones which are on the front. It has some cheap Durun (or similar) on at the moment and whilst they haven't provided any scares yet, I'd just be more confident with something more renowned.
2. Stereo - the standard stereo is pants and I am a stickler for a good stereo system. So I'll probably look to change out the head until and add some uprated component speakers. Would also be useful if I could link my phone with it.
3. Wheels - unsure what to do here, whilst in my youth I was keen to get the "modified" look, I'm now thinking I'd like to keep everything standard(ish). However, I'm not keen on the standard 16" that are on it at the moment. So the natural option looks to be the 17" face lift wheels, if I can ever find a decent set. Any of you guys with pre-face lifts gone for decent looking after market wheels that do not detract from the overall look of the car? I'd be interested to hear.
4. Exhaust/Air Filter - Whilst the car in standard form sounds great, owning motorbikes has made me think I would quite like it to be a little louder. Thinking K&N with the Exhaust mod.
I'm going to try to add a few picture of the beast, hopefully this works. Grateful for any comments, welcomes and thoughts. I'm located Derbyshire way, would be good to meet up with some locals.
Cheers
George

I am considering doing the exhaust mod but am, for the moment, sticking to a standard filter. I am not that local to you but up the road in Lancashire hoping to get to a Northwest meet at some point.....
Hi, Nice car ! I also bought a 2003 Nurburg blue on Jan 1st but mine needs a bit of work !! almost twice the mileage of yours with 80k on.

Where did you get yours from? I'd love to know what happened to my old car.
