I heard on radio 1 a few hundred did turn up and go on a go slow. Dont know how slow they went but even at a steady 70mph would have probably caused chaos.

edit.

400 @ 56mph for 30 miles

I went!!

The person running our side didn't abide to the plan of 56mph and was doing 30 tops. Massive tailbacks and lots of people sticking their thumbs up in support. Lots of people lined the bridges too

There was 2 S2000's on our side of the carriageway Forgot the guys name (I am rrrrrubbish) but he seemed like a top guy

The M4 cameras don't really affect me, but it's the greater picture which concerns me - NO reduction in saving lives, all this money they reap could be used for driver awareness and more traffic police to catch dangerous (not speeding) drivers and drunk drivers etc!

Some great quotes in that BBC article, which highlight this wasn't just arrogant speeders sulking, but trying to show that there are other causes of accidents (in fact the majority of accidents) which aren't being addressed.

Disappointing turn-out after driving all the way from Plymouth, but ya gotta stand up and be counted. Hope they arrange more protests.

Nice 2 meet ya Sid

Hi
Feel really bad for forgetting your name, but i'd had a long drive too in the sun so I had a bit of a headache when i got back (forgot my hat - all i had in the car was a beanie hat!). Loved your plate by the way

I expected to see more but it's a start!!
