Default That man does it again!

Chris of Centre of Gravity fame does it again.

Spent a great day with Chris tweaking my car after Northern Meet I.

Arrived a little early, which wasn't a bad thing as it allowed me to lend a little bit of a hand setting up. Once the trailer was set the car was loaded on and up she went.

Rear toe was altered and camber twiddled with as required. Amazed at how much changing toe can in turn alter the camber. Took a bit of time to get both sides spot on, but Chris did a brilliant job. All bolts were then given a generous coating of copper slip.

Took the car out to see how the handling was altered. Car was back to its direct self, nice positive steering and excellent stability through the corners. Based on how I felt the car was feeling we decided to leave the front castor as it was.

The car was then put back on the ramp and all of the front bolts were given the copper slip treatment.

Chris then treated me to a blast in his rather special 911. What a ride, that car is an awesome piece of kit. Thank you very much for this because I keep breaking into this massive grin every time I recall how she sounded as you screamed round the rev counter

As others have said Chris really is a top bloke. He spent around 5 hours today with me and the car. I think that really sums him up. He talked me through everything he was doing and the expected outcomes, and made sure I was 100% happy with the car. He really does take great pride in his work and I can not recommend him enough.

Photos are currently uploading, I'll post/link when they are done.

Once again a big thanks to Chris for all of his hard work and I hope you enjoyed the beer

Nice to hear something positive in the midst of all the moaning and groaning that goes on here sometimes.

Looking forward to having Chris give mine the treatment at "NLAM1".

He will not disappoint you. It's also nice to be able to get your head up and under the car. Chris actively encourages you to get in really close so you can see exactly what it is he is doing/talking about.

I'll post a link to the relevant album and also try to get the pictures the show direct, but I suck at the internet

Amazing that you can trundle that lot up on a trailer & set it up level!

Good that the guy has time to do it right - patience is required.

I shall bear him in mind, especially seeing I have two cars where alignment is critical, for differing reasons.

Each of the four plates are adjustable at all four corners. Chris uses a laser to set up each individual plate to make sure that they are all at the same level.
